Terms, stated plainly.
The rules for using this website — what the Site is for, what you can rely on, and where the commitments that matter actually live.
Last updated: August 7, 2026
This page is the fine print for the Coastal Connections website. The short version: the Site is here to describe what we do, the market it describes moves constantly, and the commitments that matter are made in written proposals and signed agreements — not on a marketing page.
Our legal pages are maintained in English.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.coastalconnectionscorp.com (the “Site”), operated by Coastal Connections Corporation of Scarborough, Maine (“Coastal Connections,” “we,” “us” or “our”). By using the Site, or by submitting either of the forms it hosts, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
The Site is operated from the United States and is intended for businesses and business decision-makers in the United States.
2. The Site is informational
The Site describes our consulting practice and the internet, voice, cloud, equipment, payment and energy services we can source and support. Everything on it — services, providers, coverage, program details and any pricing context — is provided for general information only and may change at any time without notice. Carriers adjust their offerings, footprints and rates continuously, so what is available to your business depends on your locations and on the market the day we check it.
Nothing on the Site is a binding offer of any service, price or outcome, and descriptions of savings or results reflect past client work — not a promise about yours.
3. Not professional advice
Content on the Site — including articles, FAQ answers and planning guidance — is general information about the telecom market. It is not legal, financial, engineering or other professional advice, and it is not a recommendation tailored to your business until we have actually studied your situation. Decisions about services and contracts should rest on the written proposals and agreements that come out of an engagement, not on a marketing page.
4. Audits, quotes & carrier services
The telecom audit offered on the Site is free and creates no obligation, as the request page says. Comparisons and quotes we prepare are estimates built on carrier-published pricing and availability at the time; they become binding only when confirmed in a signed agreement — typically after the carrier’s own checks, such as a site qualification or credit review.
Coastal Connections is an independent, carrier-neutral consultancy and agent. The services we help you source are delivered by the carriers and providers themselves under your agreements with them: their networks, coverage, installation dates, service levels and billing are governed by those agreements, and we do not control them. What we do control — and stand behind — is the comparison, the recommendation and the ongoing account support we provide.
5. Partner programs
The sales agent and association pages describe our partner programs in general terms. Participation — including any commission, residual or member-benefit arrangement — happens only under a separate written agreement between you and Coastal Connections. Nothing on the Site is itself an offer of a partnership or a promise of compensation.
6. Intellectual property
The Site and everything on it — text, photographs, illustrations, logos, page designs and code — belong to Coastal Connections or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Names and logos of carriers and providers mentioned on the Site belong to their respective owners; mentioning them describes our work and implies no endorsement in either direction.
You may view the Site and print or save pages for your own internal business use. Any other use — including commercial republication, or use of our name or logo — requires our prior written permission.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Site for any unlawful purpose; submit a form with false, misleading, infringing or harassing content, or while impersonating another person or company; interfere with the operation or security of the Site, including its bot protection and rate limits; access the Site or collect content or data from it by automated means, including scraping; or introduce viruses or other malicious code.
8. Forms, messages & ideas
The Site hosts two forms: a contact form and a telecom audit request. Submissions reach us by email and are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Sending us a message does not by itself create a client, agency or confidential relationship — that happens in a signed engagement — and while we read what you send, we cannot promise to respond to every message.
If you send us ideas or suggestions about our services or the Site, they are voluntary, and we may use them (or not) without restriction, compensation or credit.
9. Third-party links & services
Where the Site links to or names outside websites and services — carriers, providers, tools — those services have their own terms and privacy policies, a link or mention from us is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE AND EVERYTHING ON IT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED — INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that information on it (including service, provider, coverage and pricing information) is complete, current or accurate.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COASTAL CONNECTIONS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or damage exclusions, so parts of sections 10 and 11 may not apply to you. For clarity, this section is about the Site: any services we provide under a signed engagement are governed by that engagement’s own terms.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information the Site collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have, including how cookies and analytics work on the Site. It is part of these Terms.
13. Governing law & venue
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site, are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any such dispute will be brought exclusively in the state courts of Maine sitting in Cumberland County or in the United States District Court for the District of Maine, and both you and Coastal Connections consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your use of the Site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
15. General
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remain in effect, and our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Coastal Connections about the Site. This page is written and maintained in English; if it ever appears in another language, the English version controls.
16. Contact
Questions about these Terms are welcome — call us, or use the contact form.
